A stunning beefsteak tomato with yellow flesh streaked with orange-red and indigo-blue shoulders, offering a mild flavour with citrus notes.
What I particularly enjoy about Alice’s Dream is its mild flavour, with a hint of lemon, but especially the more fruity and exotic notes found in some fruits. Its colour contrast is spectacular, and its texture is smooth, creamy and melting. The beautiful fruits have bicoloured yellow flesh streaked with orange-red, while their shoulders develop deep indigo-blue colouring.
Alice’s Dream originated from an accidental cross-pollination between Blue Gold and an unknown indigo variety.
Its indeterminate plants produce beautiful beefsteak tomatoes weighing approximately 150 to 300 g. Harvest begins about 75 to 85 days after transplanting.
Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
