What I appreciate about Andrina is the tangy, intense character of its flavor. Its classic red tomato taste stands out. Its fruits are round, slightly oval-shaped, sometimes with a pointed tip and sometimes without one. I’ve noticed that both shapes can appear on the same plant.

Its determinate plant reaches about 20–25 cm in height. Its compact size makes it easy to grow in a small pot, on a balcony, or indoors with minimal supplemental lighting.

And if you get the urge to start seeds, sow it indoors whenever you like. It’s an excellent way to be patient.
