A pear-shaped cherry tomato with mahogany and olive colours marbled with orange, and almost black indigo shoulders. A true garden jewel!

What I appreciate about Black Keyes is its spectacular appearance and sweet flavour. Its small pear-shaped fruits display a beautiful blend of mahogany and olive colours, marbled with orange, while their shoulders develop an almost black indigo hue. The flesh has a crisp and juicy texture, accompanied by a sweet flavour and subtle acidity.

This is a tomato that is particularly enjoyable straight from the garden. It is also excellent for snacking, salads, dehydrating and making tomato confit. Its fruits keep well, both on the vine and after harvesting.

Its vigorous and productive indeterminate plant has regular foliage and produces generous clusters of fruit. Harvest begins approximately 75 to 85 days after transplanting.

Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
