Calendula officinalis

Magnificent 10 cm flower, of a beautiful deep orange. This companion plant in the garden is appreciated for its repellent effect on insects and for its attractive effect on pollinators. It is also used in cooking to replace saffron or for its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and healing properties in the manufacture of balms, tinctures or oily macerates.

Direct sowing in autumn or early spring, 5 mm deep, spaced 30 cm apart. Or sow indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frosts, acclimatize and transplant after the last risk of frost.

Our seeds are reproducible. You can preserve them and share them around you.

Heirloom and open-pollinated varieties grown naturally in the garden.

Let's take care of life, one seed at a time!
