Dwarf Champion Tomato
Solanum lycopersicum
A very old dwarf variety already in the seed catalog at the end of the 1890s. A productive compact plant, with 'rugose' type foliage, giving pink tomatoes with a mild, sweet flavor with a hint of acidity. One of the first dwarf varieties, a selection resulting from a cross with an unknown variety and Tomato de Laye. 80 days.
Sow indoors, 5mm deep, 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Gradually acclimatize outdoors, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed. Also suitable for growing in 10 to 12 liter pots.
Our seeds are reproducible. You can preserve them and share them around you.
Heirloom and open-pollinated varieties grown naturally in the garden.
