An old variety native to the United States, producing large pink tomatoes of unmistakable flavor. It was named after Robert Gibbon Johnson ate one in public in 1820, to convince people of the non-toxicity of the tomato! Indeterminate.

Sow indoors, 5mm deep, 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Gradually acclimatize outdoors, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed.

Our seeds are reproducible. You can preserve them and share them around you.
