Petroselinum crispum

A strong rooted parsley selection from a Polish landrace grew out in Oregon, Wild Garden Seeds, in challenging conditions last year. Hank Keogh selected the straightest longest roots to replant for seed production at his Avoca Farm.

Direct sowing in the garden, 5 mm deep, in early spring. Space the plants 15 cm apart, in rows 30 cm apart. Slow germination (up to 3 weeks), soaking the seeds for 12 hours in warm water before sowing can help. Indoor sowing is possible 5-6 weeks before the last frosts. Situation in the garden, full sun or partial shade, in a rich and drained soil.

Our seeds are reproducible. You can preserve them and share them around you.

Heirloom and open-pollinated varieties grown naturally in the garden.

Let's take care of life, one seed at a time!
