Solanum lycopersicum

Variety native to Russia, it produces slightly ribbed fruits of brick red to black-brown colour. Sweet and complex flavour, with a hint of smokiness.  Developed by Marina Danilenko and named in honor of African-American activist Paul Robeson. Indeterminate. 90 days.

Sow indoors, 5 mm deep, 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Acclimate outside gradually, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed.
