The Paul Robeson tomato is a remarkable variety originating from Russia, appreciated for its rich, sweet, and complex flavor. It produces slightly ribbed fruits with a beautiful brick-red to dark brown color, typical of so-called "black" tomatoes.

Highly valued by lovers of heirloom tomatoes, this variety offers juicy and flavorful flesh with a subtle smoky note, which sets it apart from other tomatoes. It is excellent eaten fresh in salads, sandwiches, or simply sliced with a drizzle of olive oil.

The variety was developed by the Russian seed breeder Marina Danilenko and named in honor of Paul Robeson, the famous African-American artist and activist recognized for his commitment to social justice.

The plants are vigorous and indeterminate, producing flavorful medium to large fruits throughout the season. An excellent variety for gardeners seeking a tomato with a distinctive taste. 90 days.
