A productive variety that easily finds its place in sauces, preserves and everyday dishes.

What I like about Ukrainian Purple is its good balance of sweetness and acidity. Its elongated fruits, with their beautiful purple-brown coloring, have dense, meaty flesh that works well in a wide range of culinary preparations. It is a versatile tomato, just as enjoyable fresh as it is cooked.

Originally from Ukraine, this heirloom variety is open-pollinated. Its indeterminate plant is vigorous and productive, producing fruit throughout the season. Harvest begins approximately 80 days after transplanting.

Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
