A spectacular tomato, as remarkable for its appearance as for the richness of its flavour.

What I admire about Wildthyme Purple is the decorative appearance of its fruits. Its large, round, ribbed tomatoes display a simply stunning blend of green and purple. When sliced, their flesh reveals beautiful multicoloured hues. Their rich, complex flavour offers a lovely balance of sweetness and acidity. Their meaty, juicy flesh completes this delightful range of flavours.

This recent variety has a vigorous, indeterminate plant that produces beautiful fruits in mid-season.

Developed by Bill Jeffers from a Pink Elgin line, it stands out both in the garden and on the plate.

Every variety has its own personality. The best tomato isn’t the one that everyone likes, but the one that finds its place in your garden, your kitchen, and your habits.
