Dwarf Banana Toes Tomato
Dwarf variety, very compact with a height of 45 to 60 cm, producing tomatoes of the roma type, yellow in color. Sweet and pleasant flavor. Very long shelf life, the flavor improves after a few days of waiting. Developed as part of the 'Dwarf Tomato project'. From the line 'Speckly', from a cross between 'Dwarf Golden Heart' and 'Speckled Roman'. Contributed to the development of the variety Gina McDermott, Craig LeHouillier, Bill Minkey, Mike Dunton and John Dunton.
Sow indoors, 5mm deep, 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant. Gradually acclimatize outdoors, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed. Also suitable for growing in 10 to 12 liter pots.
