The Japanese White Egg eggplant is a heritage variety originating from Japan, known for its generous production of small white, egg-shaped fruits. This miniature eggplant is appealing both for its unique appearance and its tender, creamy flesh.

Its sweet and rich flavor, slightly woody, subtly recalls that of mushrooms, making it an excellent choice for stir-fries, grilling, and refined vegetarian dishes.

Early maturing, it reaches maturity in about 65 days, making it well suited to shorter seasons, especially in Quebec. The compact and productive plants are suitable for both garden beds and container cultivation.

Sow indoors, 5 mm deep, 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Pick up. Gradually acclimate outdoors, before transplanting, when all risk of frost has passed.

Our seeds are reproducible. You can preserve them and share them around you.

Heirloom and open-pollinated varieties grown naturally in the garden.
