Boothby's Blonde Cucumber
Boothby's Blonde Cucumber
Heritage variety from Maine, producing compact vines giving white cucumbers, turning yellow when very ripe. Crispy, juicy and without bitterness. Harvest around 10 cm long. Consume fresh or pickled. Our only regret: not having tried them sooner! 60days.
Direct sowing in well warmed soil, 1-2 cm deep. Or, do an indoor sowing, 2-3 weeks before transplanting, after acclimatization. Space 60 cm in a row, spaced 100 cm apart. Be careful not to disturb the roots.
Our seeds are reproducible. You can preserve them and share them around you.
Heirloom and open-pollinated varieties grown naturally in the garden.
